1275 de la Jonquière St

Québec City (Québec)

Area: 35,000 sq.ft

Rue de la Jonquière (and its surrounding area in the Saint-Sauveur district of Quebec City) is primarily recognized for its industrial-turned-educational legacy hub. The street name itself holds deep regional historical significance. It is named in honor of Jacques-Pierre de Taffanel de La Jonquière, the Marquis de La Jonquière, who served as the Governor General of New France from 1749 until his death in Quebec City in 1752.

This Hub is adjacent to Qubec City and 2km close proximity from Quebec downtown which is capital city of Qubec Province, Canada. This building built in 1968 for industrial purposes and Hermes Property Inc acquired thus infra in year 2014 and converted into skill trade school which is largest private skill school in the province with 35,000 sqft.

When building acquired it’s a A+ infra and Hermes changed the entire infra of the building to AA+ including roof, floorings, HVAC, high end fabrication to hold skill programs, internal partitions, others to make it new infra from inside the building. The entire project took 8 months with an investment of around $ 1.7million. Several challenges addressed in this project from licence from city to end product.
